No Stress Wanted

I was telling a friend about our cancer support group. As I described members and their cancers, she faced away from me and said, "I don't want to hear about it. Anything negative puts me under stress, and that's not good for my health."

Behind her was the kitchen. I said, "There's smoke coming out of your kitchen. Do you want to hear about it?

"I told you I don't want any negative news. It stresses me. Let the damn house burn down!"
