While those numbers are common for astro-cameras they are (or rather were) entirely unheard of for landscape photography. Check it out yourselves at the project's image gallery to sample 4 gigapixel snaps measuring 88,000 x 44,000 pixels. Incidentally, images of that quality would be 24GB files if left uncompresssed. But don't sweat it, there's no downloading required.
